Tall buildings, heavy foliage, traffic or other obstructions won’t slow the power, performance and possibilities of the SmartStation total station with integrated real-time GPS capabilities. The SmartStation incorporates the TPS1200+ robotic total station with a SmartAntenna dual frequency GNSS receiver. Together these two technologies work together to eliminate the need for awkward traversing or the lack of control points. Surveyors can use RTK GPS to determine the position of the total station, hit a button and continue the survey or stakeout work with the total station. SmartStation is more versatile than a standard total station and measures to points and objects that can never be occupied with an RTK receiver.
